Sports Traider, which operates from the Mall in Luton, provides low cost sportswear and equipment to people who would otherwise struggle to afford their own kit. The shop also provides training and work opportunities for adults with learning disabilities.
Active Luton???s business development manager, Terry Nicholls, said: ???We are so thankful to Luton Town Football Club for nominating Sports Traider for the FA Community Shield Fund Awards. We are delighted that they have recognised our work in supporting vulnerable and marginalised adults and providing a way into sport for those who cannot afford the latest gear.???
