We are once again very grateful to Big Lottery Fund for their amazing support for the work of Beyond Youth. We have been awarded a new Lottery contract to expand our innovative social franchise model. We will roll out the model across 6 female prisons, 3 in the north and 3 in the south. This new contract has been awarded as a direct result of the success of our recent programme delivery at HMP Send which to date has achieved an unparalleled 100% non re-offending rate. An ex-participant from that programme will be employed by us and will be heavily involved in setting up this project.
We are looking forward to beginning our partnership with Bright Ideas Trust who are running workshops to help our ex offenders to set up their own businesses.
We are continuing to increase momentum for the Raising The Bars model and are now seeking strong support from key partners to deliver what has the potential to be a fantastic piece of work.
Our Managing Director Emma Morris is looking forward to starting development work with Pilot Light in the new year.
Our staff team continues to deliver strong results through our community mentoring programme with offenders released from custody.
